Dr. Midkiff may be a familiar face to our more established clients. Before covid Dr. Midkiff worked with us to give Dr. Highsmith a much needed break. Dr. Midkiff took a break from working with us to focus on her mobile practice for a little while. She is now back and better than ever and will be working 3 days a week with us so we will have more availability to see everyone. We are so excited to have her back on the team.
Dr. Midkiff grew up in North Carolina and attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at NC State University. She graduated in 1994 and chose to remain in the area. Since that time, she has found great joy working as a small animal practitioner. She takes great pride in working closely with you and your pet and in providing calm, compassionate care. When she is not visiting her patients, she is at home with her own babies. She considers herself a "homebody" and loves gardening, playing with her dogs and doing carpentry projects around the house. She loves the outdoors and enjoys camping, hiking and photography. She looks forward to seeing you and your "fur kids" soon!
